Choose These Unique Retractable Shades
Retractable shades roll back into a header at the top of your window treatment. The header can be covered by a valance or cornice, or you can leave it exposed. Either way, they make it easy for you to use them when you want and cleverly conceal them when you don't.

Hunter Douglas Designer Banded Shades
Hunter Douglas Designer Banded Shades, sometimes called Zebra shades, are unique, retractable roller shades made from two layers of fabric that alternate between bands strips of sheer and solid fabrics. The fabrics are available in over 90 shades of fabric that either dim or filter light.
You shift how the bands overlap to get the light and privacy you want. When the like bands are aligned (sheer over sheer), you can get a great view that lets in lots of light. But you can adjust them so that the sheer and solid overlap slightly, which gives you more privacy and less light. You can align the solid fabric bands side-by-side so less light comes in, giving you privacy. You can also roll the whole shade up into the retractable case at the top of the window for seamless views.
Hunter Douglas Designer Solar Shades
Solar shades, also called screen shades, filter out harsh UV light and glare, protecting your things. They allow you to have an excellent view and privacy. They're a fantastic choice for a patio, sunroom, or large window. They're like the darkened glass in a car or sunglasses: You get a clear view, but no one can see through. You can also roll the shades into the retractable case header for a completely unobstructed view.
The screen shades are available in over 130 combinations of color and fabric, ranging from sheer to opaque. They include sustainable options made from marine-rescue plastics.
Hunter Douglas Pirouette® Sheer Shades
Pirouette® Sheer Shades feature a retractable sheer panel with horizontal vanes of opaque fabric, like blinds, that control the light and add privacy. The fabric vanes don't adjust back and forth like the slats of blinds but twist and curve inward and back out. The sheer shade blocks UV light and protects your things by filtering light through it. The fabric vanes can be made from light-filtering or room-darkening fabric, giving you even more light control.
